Gray Diving Services maintains a range of state-of-the-art equipment including:
- a wide range of hydraulic tooling including large diameter core drilling machines, concrete saws, propeller polishing equipment, chain saws, drills and grinders
- floating plant including crane barges, transportable pontoons, high speed diving support vessels and tugs, crew and survey vessels
- decompression chambers and packaged air and mixed gas diving systems
- non-destructive testing equipment
- dredging and cable handling equipment
- contaminated environment diving systems
- surveying and bottom profiling equipment
- remotely operated vehicles
We have facilities in-house to carry out design, fabrication, repair and precision machining of mild and stainless steel and cast and alloy materials. This saves our clients time and money and eliminates many of the problems experienced by other contractors whose skills and resources are limited. At Gray Diving, the designer, fabricator and final installer all work together and design revisions are approved and implemented immediately.
Client participation and monitoring is encouraged and Gray Diving has established a wet welding simulator at their Caringbah workshop. The system has direct view ports and closed circuit video so engineers and project managers can witness all welders’ pre-qualification and weld procedures.
Few diving contractors can offer certifiable welds or precision cutting to match our skilled and qualified tradesmen divers.
