Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV)

Gray diving services owns and operates one of the latest new generation remotely operated vehicles.

The Seabotix L.B.V. 150 was created to solve the demands of many industries. A serious and rugged tool the LBV R.O.V. can in most circumstances be operated by a single technician or a team of two from a small work boat or shore based location, with overall dimensions of 550mm x 310mm x 250mm and weighing only 11kgs the vehicle is ideally suited to light inspection and work tasks in restricted or difficult access areas such as:

• Power stations
• Remote weirs and dams
• Potable water storage reservoir inspections
• Internal pipeline inspection down to 500mm diameter
• Diver support
• Inspection beyond normal diving range
• Pre-sight survey down to depths of 150 metres
• Cathodic potentail surveys

The vehicle is fitted with two high resolution colour cameras, both fixed and rotating lighting with variable intensity control, powerful thrusters and manipulator allowing the recovery of small objects and sample collection, along with a 150 metres of umbilical.
